What is coaching?

Coaching is a powerful, forward-focused partnership that helps you gain clarity, shift limiting beliefs, and take aligned positive action toward your goals. Coaching will help you build resilience and cope with change, finding opportunities rather than perceiving change as a threat and something ‘to overcome’. It’s not about giving advice - it's about creating the right supportive and confidential conditions for you to uncover your own insights. I help you become more self-aware and develop practical strategies to move forward with confidence – and fundamentally live a happier and healthier life. With tools and reflection exercises, I help you develop practical strategies to move forward with a greater sense of purpose and fulfilment.

How can coaching help me?

Coaching can support you in many areas of life and work, including: Building clarity around what you truly want Navigating transitions or decision-making with greater ease and confidence Reframing challenges and seeing new possibilities Strengthening your confidence and communication skills Make better life choices and develop healthier habits Creating actionable plans with meaningful accountability. Whether you're a leader facing change, a professional finding your voice, or someone seeking direction, coaching will support you to identify and reach your goals.

What will my coaching journey look like?

Your journey starts with an initial free discovery session where we explore what matters most to you. From there, we tailor a programme (usually at least 6 sessions for the maximum benefit) that may include: Reflective questions and techniques to shift perspective Goal setting Challenging of self-limiting beliefs and preconceptions Values, beliefs and purpose exercises Resilience training Strengthening communication skills Relationship management Preparation and confidence building for events such as interviews and presentations Help you reframe your experiences and perspectives to more empowering versions. Each session is structured yet flexible, holding space for what’s emerging while keeping you on track with your broader goals. It’s a collaborative and inclusive process which we create together. In addition, I may use exercises and worksheets to prompt insight between sessions and if needed support via email in between sessions. You will emerge with a clear plan and strategies to move forward with increased confidence and clarity.

Is coaching worth it?

Coaching is an investment in yourself - your growth, clarity, and future. Clients often say they leave sessions feeling seen, energised, and more aligned with who they want to become. The value isn’t just in the session itself, but in the transformation that continues between and beyond our work together. If you're ready to explore change with intention, coaching might just be the catalyst you’ve been waiting for. Coaching transformed my life, and I believe everyone should have coaching.

How much will coaching cost?

The cost of coaching will depend on how many sessions you have and for how long. I offer 60-minute sessions, 90-minute sessions, or bespoke programmes for individuals, teams, small businesses and companies. I also run group programmes throughout the year. Why would I choose Charlotte Littlejones as my coach?

I am a very inclusive and non-judgemental coach who will support you to attain your goals. I am client-focused and have an extensive professional career to draw upon, having worked in the private sector, the third sector and higher education sector. I have navigated many challenges and developed many coping mechanisms to succeed. Coaching was transformational for me in my career, and I can help you achieve the same liberating self-discovery. I am EMCC-accredited to practitioner level and have a master diploma in Neurolistic Programming (NLP). I care about my clients and will be focused on you and your progress. I value integrity, curiosity, kindness, fairness and courage. My background in journalism, project management, communication and change management enables me to listen, understand your challenges, set realistic and attainable goals and support you to communicate more effectively and become resilient in the face of change.

What is NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming)?

NLP stands for Neuro-Linguistic Programming - a powerful framework that explores the connection between how we think (neuro), how we communicate (linguistic), and our behavioural patterns (programming). In coaching, NLP provides practical tools to help shift unhelpful mindsets, reframe self-limiting beliefs, and create new, empowering strategies. You can think of it like rewiring your internal dialogue: Want to stop overthinking? Need to break a confidence block? Ready to replace feeling like the victim to becoming empowered? NLP offers techniques that can support you and allow you to access the resources already within you and unlocking your capacity for change.

How does Charlotte use NLP in her coaching practice?

My coaching blends NLP techniques with storytelling skills honed through years in journalism and communications. That means I help you examine the inner narrative you’re telling yourself— and then reshape it into one that feels more empowering, clear, and honest. We work together to: Identify unhelpful thought patterns and language that reinforce a “victim” mindset. Reframe your experiences so they reflect your strength, growth, and capacity to choose. Develop a more optimistic, action-oriented internal dialogue — rooted in clarity, from a more perspective. Communicate your story to others with confidence, relatability, and self-leadership. Just like an editor helps fine-tune a story, I help you re-author how you speak to yourself and to others about yourself — and you more forward with a sense of agency, resilience, and possibility.
